Horseback Riding

 Enjoy a trail ride through Georgia’s Lake Country as you admire the beautiful hills, streams and forests along your journey.  Our stables employ only the highest quality, well-trained Paint and Quarter houses for your enjoyment.  Each horse is individually matched to each rider’s experience-level and interest to enhance your riding experience.  You will even have the opportunity to finish your trail ride unguided based on your demonstrated ability and cooperative weather.  For the little buckaroos, we have a variety of training rides available that are designed to introduce them to horseback riding in a fun atmosphere.

Standard Riding Program (ages 9 to adult)

Package includes supervised care/tacking/untacking of horses, guided trail ride through scenic, wooded trails and pastures with gently rolling terrain.  Participants may have the opportunity to finish ride unguided if competency is demonstrated.  Walk, trot and canter (weather permitting).

Partial Lesson Riding Program

This package includes a half hour lesson before the open trail ride. This is a great refresher course for those who have not ridden recently or extensively.   It includes supervised care/tacking/untacking of horses, guided trail ride through scenic, wooded trails and pastures with gently rolling terrain.  Participants may have the opportunity to finish ride unguided if competency is demonstrated.  Walk, trot and canter (weather permitting).

Lesson Riding Program

This package includes supervised lesson of care/tacking/untacking of horses, western riding lesson, guided trail ride through scenic, wooded trails and pastures with gently rolling terrain.  Participants may have the opportunity to finish ride unguided if competency is demonstrated.  Walk, trot and canter (weather permitting).  (subjects taught depend on experience; beginner through advanced).
